By car
From M62, junction 32, leave motorway and follow directions for Pontefract Town Centre, passing park on right, straight on at roundabout (near Wickes DIY), stay in left lane through traffic lights. At the dual-carriageway in Pontefract on Jubilee Way stay in the left lane and follow road to right through another set of traffic lights where you will see the final set of traffic lights with the Oriental Chinese Restaurant opposite. At this junction, turn left;
*continue along Southgate in right lane. Go straight on at the next roundabout; continue through next set of lights at a public crossing. The road goes down hill slightly; take next right before traffic lights at crossing. **The pay and display car park is directly in front of you.
To walk to office - Leave the car park at the entrance; cross road at the public crossing and walk up the road until you reach Gillygate on the right. Continue to the top of Gillygate and turn right at the Town Hall. †* Walk down Horsefair until to reach the precinct on the right. The CAB roundel is on the wall in front. Entrance to the CAB is at the precinct side door.

By bus
Leave the bus station at the main entrance/exit. Cross the road, Horsefair House is directly in front of you. Walk uphill until you reach the precinct on the left, enter via the side door.
By train
From Tanshelf Station (arriving from Wakefield, Streethouse and Featherstone also Knottingley). Leave station using ramp walkway onto bridge. Turn left walking uphill to the town centre; you will pass the Haribo shop and the Magistrates Court. Continue along Front Street and Corn Market (shopping precinct). When you see M&S and Boots turn left along Market Place (you will pass the Buttercross and Market Hall both on your left) and walk as far as the Town Hall, continue walking with the Town Hall on your right onto Bridge Street and Horsefair. The CAB is directly opposite the bus station (follow directions from †*).
From Monkhill Station (arriving from Leeds, Woodlesford, Castleford, Glasshoughton and Knottingley, Goole). This station is quite remote from the town centre. Make your way along an unnamed, poorly maintained road onto North Baileygate with the remains of Pontefract Castle directly in front of you. Turn right onto North Baileygate. Cross the road and turn left along Spink Lane. At the end of Spink Lane the Castle entrance will be on your left, you should turn right, on to Micklegate and follow the road up the hill on to Horsefair. The CAB is directly opposite the bus station, the entrance is via the side door in the precinct before the Kiosk Newsagents.
