From the A638 and A61 going into Wakefield, over the river on Bridge Street and then turn left onto Ings Road with the large retail shops on the left. At the roundabout with Denby Dale Road (Sainbury's Supermarket is the last store on the left) turn right onto Denby Dale Road. Go up the hill a short way and turn left immediately before a public house. Follow the road onto Smyth Street. Before the traffic lights there is pay and display parking on either side of the road.
*From the car park the Wakefield Opera House is over the road at the traffic lights on Westgate. Cross the road at this point and walk up Westgate (on the same side as the Opera House).
**There is a small shopping area behind the bank on Marygate. Along this shopping area there is a sign showing Citizens Advice Bureau pointing up King Street. The CAB is on the left-hand side opposite the Inns of Court public house.

From Kirkgate Station - Make your way to the centre of Wakefield; first along Kirkgate in front of Chantry House and Crown House. Cross the road via the subway and continue to walk up Kirkgate until you reach the precinct area opposite Woolworths. From the bus station leave via the main entrance. Continue straight along
Providence Street, cross the road on Northgate and continue up Cross Street.
This will bring you onto Wood Street. Cross Wood Street and make you way
up to the Town Hall on Wood Street. The CAB is directly behind the Town
Hall on King Street.
