Staff

Service Managers

Andrew and Solveig
They are responsible for the service on a daily basis. They ensure that we open to the public and offer a service during our advertised times.

They are responsible on a daily basis for the co-ordination of volunters, some generalist staff and for checking that advice work policies, procedures and standards are maintained. They are both responsible to the District Operations Manager

Recruitment & Training Officer

Pete
Pete is based at Wakefield but spends an equal amount of time in each office, training and supporting the new advisors. He also has responsibility for recruitment and runs an Introductory day every 3 months for prospective advisors.

Please telephone 01924 382490 for more details on volunteering.

He does talks to groups and agencies to raise awareness of the need we have for volunteers.

He also organises social events regularly which are great fun.

Administration

Elaine

Elaine is the admin worker and has worked in Wakefield for over 15 years. She is the longest serving member of the paid staff and feels as though she is part of the Bureau`s fixtures and fittings. Elaine is responsible for the general administration of the office.

Volunteers
We have a number of volunteers working as trainee and generalist advisors and also in an admin support role.
